The Open Strategy Trial

A One-Year Live Validation — a real-money test of an automated S&P 500 strategy, judged on rules fixed before it started
Live trading. Fixed rules. Public results.

What this is

Since September 2026 a computer programme has been trading one S&P 500 futures contract in a real brokerage account. It is not a demo and the numbers are not simulated: every result on this site is what the account actually did, as confirmed by the broker.

Before the first trade, we wrote down how we would decide whether the system is good enough to open a fund with. Four checks, fixed in advance, plus a minimum amount of data. If any one of them fails at the end of the year, no fund will be launched under these rules — even if the year was profitable.

That is the point of this site. Anyone can show a good quarter. We are publishing the target before knowing whether we will hit it, and we will publish the result either way.

How we will decide

All four checks must pass at the end of the year for the fund to be considered. Passing is necessary — but not enough: legal, operational and business readiness have to be in place too. Full wording on The Rules page.

Where to look

Performance what the account has actually done, month by month, next to the S&P 500
Scorecard each of the four checks, its target, where we stand, and whether it is on track
The Rules the full commitment, in plain language, including what we are not allowed to change
This is a public research record of a real-money trading programme. It is not an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any investment, and no money is accepted here. Trading futures can lose money. Past results — live or simulated — do not predict the future.
